You can find our coworking space in the former bank on the corner of Karja and Vaba streets. The modern office facilities in this venerable building are open to freelancers and small business owners whether they be local or just visiting our beautiful town.

With us, you can choose your working hours as you see fit, there's no need to spend neither full 9-5 nor just 9-5 here.
You don't have to waste time managing the office – there's no worrying about whether there's enough paper for the printer, for example.

More convenient than home office

Working here allows you to manage your work-life balance better. You'll find a professional setting for meetings here.
It's easier to focus when not worrying about family members or roommates disrupting your line of thought. Also, you may find a fellow busy bee to bounce ideas off of.

What we have

Our coworking space is well-appointed and full of light. There's the technical equipment an office worker may expect, as well as a small kitchen they may consider critical. We offer an atmosphere both active and laid back, ergonomic furnishings and a speedy, secure internet connection. If you're used to working alone you may well find some colleagues.

Truly comfortable chairs. If sitting down isn't your thing, you can grab your stuff and move to a standing desk.

Our small kitchen has a cupboard to hold your coffee cup. Because we have a proper coffee maker.

A chatbox with some privacy for those one-on-one chats. Or those private phone calls.

Nice neighbourhood

Haapsalu Vabakontor is located on the main street of our town. There are many cafés and restaurants, shops and parks just a short walk from here. If you feel the need to take a short break, there's plenty of opportunities for that.

Just a short walk up the stairs are the offices of SA Läänemaa, a foundation created to support local entrepreneurs – both incipient and established – and third sector activists with necessary advice and training.

If your undertaking grows too large for Vabakontor, we'll gladly assist you in finding a rental space more suitable.

What we offer our customers

All our visitors, no matter what package they choose, have acess to following facilities: 24/7 access to the premises, comfortable and ergonomic office furniture, fast internet access of both wired and wireless varieties, private chat box and a kitchen nook with coffee and tea selection. In addition to that we offer office equipment for printing and scanning and, if required, monitors and keyboards.

If you choose to stay with us for longer, we'll also provide a place to lock away your stuff. For those on monthly package, our internal IT support is available during working hours and should you need a space to park your car, we can provide that as well. For a small extra fee you can reserve your favourite table or even an old-fashioned cubicle.
